OMG I love this so much. I actually thought of creating something similar in Oaxaca for moms and our kids. Get the little ones into a language institute and rent a giant hacienda for a month...if you have any suggestions (cuz I know you know that part of the world) I'd love to hear them. I love the mixed-age thing you did, and it sounds like maybe you didn't know most of the women before you went? That is so wonderful and like something we all need.

Thanks, Robin! I didn't know any of the women. Mixed-age stuff is so hard to find, and I think it's so important for kids! My daughter is an only child, too, and I realized on this trip how important it is for her to be around big families. I have thought about this in Oaxaca, too! So many ideas after this trip.

If you ever organized a trip like this I would sign up so fast. I am actually heading to Oaxaca for the first time since the pandemic next week. I am going to put out some feelers and ask some friends if they have some insight too :-). I'm so happy I got to ingest this bit of inspo.
